The cold, bleak winter,
Wind whistles around my feet,
Clean, crisp snow falling.
Things from my brain
The cold, bleak winter,
Wind whistles around my feet,
Clean, crisp snow falling.
There was a young fellow from Leeds ,
Who swallowed a packet of seeds ,
From his bum came a rose ,
Buttercups from his nose ,
And his ears sprang a garden of weeds.
There was a young fellow from Norway,
Who got his foot trapped in a doorway,
And then it kept swelling,
And children kept telling,
About the foot big as a driveway
Vast blue oceans wide,
Waves lapping against the shore,
Smoothing dull ,grey rocks.
There once was a man from Calcutta,
Who found all his food in the gutter,
Though it made him quite sick,
And it was hard to pick,
Should to eat it dry or with somen butter.
There was a young soldier from China,
Whose coat had nettles for a liner,
Though it hurt his back,
And stung his butt crack,
He thought that there was no coat finer.
There was a fat man from Ukraine,
faulty chute but jumped out of a plane,
with a thunderous sound,
he ploughed into the ground,
as his backside went straight through his brain.
There was an old man from Jamaica,
who thought he was a fabulous baker,
but his buns were quite flat,
and his cakes full of fat,
trust me quite sick they will make ya.
There was a young fellow from Wales,
Who was quite sadly impaled,
But he came back to life,
And he grabbed a large knife,
And ate lots of animal tails.
Owen woke up, dazed in a modern room. He was not in his room. He thought that he might be at a hotel, no there was no tiny TV in the corner. He looked outside.
‘What the …’ He was interrupted by a voice asking
“What is wrong test subject 759104”.
He asked the voice where and when he was. He found out the horrible truth that he was in the year 51947 in apartment building 8623 on planet Zaxocen 54.
Owen, terrified, went to the nearest fast food restaurant. The buildings were blue and huge. The people were too, except they weren’t blue, they were purple. He asked the least intimidating person he could find if they could take him to earth. The creature said no. He found another person who just gave him a small, green, cute alien and left. He called it “Moon cake”. The next person also said no. But then he found a child that asked him to go to earth with him because he could then tease the “Earthlings”, but he needs an organisms confusion to power his ship.
They passed through space and saw a magnificent array of colours flashing through the window at light speed. When they reached earth, the child dropped Owen off on a building called the Pyro Ottica, which was named after the 18923rd president of America who was called Pyroctan Otticalos and ended world hunger.
Owen didn’t know why everyone was flying with rocket boots. He also didn’t know what to do. He was trapped on a roof top, with Moon Cake of course.
Where would he go? What would he do …?
